In the first verses revealed to the Prophet of Islam, God mentions knowledge and writing: الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ . عَلَّمَ الْإِنْسانَ ما لَمْ يَعْلَمْ. “Who taught by the pen. taught man what he did not know.”
