Ayatollah Khamenei:
Imam Javad is the symbol of resistance. He is a great man who confronted and fought the hypocrite power of the Abbasid caliph (Ma’mun) through his short life. The big lesson is that when you face hypocrite powers, you need to work hard to awaken the public to confront them.
