The Twelver Shia is led by (Imam) Jafar al-Sadeq bin Muhammad, bin Ali, bin Hussein, bin Ali, bin Abi Talib who is the mentor of Abu Hanifah. This group known as Imamiah Jafariah and the followers of pure religions, are the same people about whom our late Sheikh Shaltut – Grand Imam of al-Azhar – issued his well known Fatwa in which he endorsed the act of following their school.
